Childhood Memories and a Giveaway Dare Ya!

(photo is from Pinwheels for Peace, Fruit Street Schools, Bangor, ME)

I’m in love with pinwheels. I have been since I was a little girl. When I was little you could buy a pinwheel for a dime. I loved the hours of fun running in the yard waving my pinwheel to see how fast it could spin. Or catching the wing just right and I would watch the colors spin so fast they became a blur.

There is no wonder when I look at photos of my granddaughter playing that those same days of carefree, simple fun come back to me. I had to make some pinwheels to add to this layout.
